On Saturday night, Output Lounge & Sports Bar and Grill was packed on this relatively quiet corner in Ukrainian Village, Chicago.
On the surface, the entrance and corner sidewalk patio look like your typical sports bar: ONE server dropping greasy boneless wings on the crowded tables, sports playing on the TVs and stools filled with beer-drinking fans. Venture off into one of the other rooms of this massive Ukrainian Vilalge bar, and you will find what they refer to as the “lounge” area, with house-music inspired inferences on the walls, overly loud music blasting through the speakers and marginally dressed-up groups lounging on the couches.
We took a risk and ordered a veggie burger with tator tots and a turkey burger with a side salad. The veggie burger lacked anything to get a vegetarian excited but the tator tots were really good. The turkey burger wasn’t bad but nothing worth writing home about.
Marginal food and lackluster service. If you trying to grab a meal, keep walking to anywhere but here.
